Renaissance Program
Conwell-Egan Catholic High School officially launched the Renaissance Program in February 2010. The goal of the program is to motivate the students to strive for success and excellence in all aspects of student life here at CEC. Each marking period the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs evaluates the students’ academic, conduct, and attendance records to determine which recognition status the students have achieved.
The criteria used to qualify for a Renaissance status for the 2011-2012 school year is as follows:
Gold Status Criteria
Academic: 90+ in each course for the quarter
Discipline: No demerits
Attendance: 3 or fewer absences
Lateness: no lates
Community Service: Must have mandated community service hours or beyond completed & documented
Blue Status Criteria
Academic: 80+ in each course for the quarter
Discipline: 5 or fewer demerits
Attendance: 5 or fewer absences
Lateness: 3 or fewer lates
White Status Criteria
Academic: 75+ in each course for the quarter
Discipline: 10 or fewer demerits
Attendance: 8 or fewer absences
Lateness: 5 or fewer lates
