Athletics

The athletic program at Conwell-Egan Catholic is designed to produce a well-balanced student-athlete who is not only successful in the classroom, but who is also capable of using athletic ability, of building leadership qualities, and of contributing to the enrichment of the school. More than 80% of CEC students compete in interscholastic athletics and extra-curricular activities. 20 athletic teams and 23 current extra-curricular organizations and clubs offer students a wide range of choices for personal and community growth.

Conwell-Egan Catholic is a member of the Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL), long recognized as one of the finest leagues in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. CEC is also a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association or PIAA, which is the governing body of athletics in the state of Pennsylvania.
