...that Conwell-Egan Catholic High School offers many unique and special programs to our students? Here is a sampling of some of these exciting opportunities:

Diocesan Scholars Program
Selected students who meet academic qualifications enroll in courses at local Catholic colleges and universities for college credit.

Distinguished Scholars Academy
Students selected for this program, now open to grades 9 through 12, earn a certificate of distinction at graduation for achieving a high level of academic rigor through Advanced Placement (AP) and other special courses, critical thinking challenges, and a culminating project. Students may graduate with 12 to 15 college credits through the AP program.

EAST Initiative
CEC is the only faith-based school and the only school east of the Mississippi River to offer the Environmental And Spatial Technology (or EAST) program! Students can enroll in this award-winning program, which uses cutting-edge technology to complete service projects for the community and school.

Honors (Track 1)
These college preparatory courses are offered to students of exceptional ability in grades 9 through 12 in all academic areas. Honors students work at an accelerated pace.

International Business Certificate
This opportunity is open to seniors who take the following courses: International Business, Global Studies, the third or fourth year of a language, and a business elective. Students successfully completing these courses receive a certificate upon graduation.

Senior Academic Internship Program
Through this new program, seniors participate in an internship in a career field of interest to them and earn CEC credit for their efforts.

STAR Program
The Students and Teachers Achieving Results (or STAR) Program eases the transition to high school for students needing assistance.
