CEC Students Visit PA State Capitol

Students from Ms. Kelly O'Connor, Assistant Principal for Student Affairs, Advanced Placement United States History and Advanced Placement Macroeconomics classes we privileged to attend a special field trip to the Pennsylvania State Capitol on Wednesday, December 14, 2011.  The trip was sponsored by Senator Robert "Tommy" Tomlinson.  The students had the opportunity to sit in during a Senate vote, tour the Senate, House of Representatives, and PA Supreme Court chambers; have lunch with Senator Tomlinson in his office; meet with and have a special tour of Lt. Governor Jim Cawley's Office, and speak with Representative Tina Davis.  After finishing their tour of the capitol, the students were treated to a tour of the State Museum compliments of Senator Tomlinson.
