The Center for Student Leadership is Conwell-Egan's newest initiative to help students discover and develop their leadership skills. The CSL will provide one-of-a-kind programs that both challenge and reward CEC students.

April 17, 2024 (FAIRLESS HILLS, PA) - Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (CEC), a co-ed, Catholic preparatory school serving students in 9th-12th grade, was recently named Bucks County’s Best High School and Best Private School by Bucks Happening, the premier digital magazine in Bucks County, PA. This is the fourth year in a row CEC was crowned the winner in the Everything Bucks: High School category. CEC regained the title of Best Private School after being named a Finalist in 2023.
CEC has been recognized for its excellence in education in the online magazine’s annual “Happening List” contest, a popular people’s choice competition in the region over the last five years, with a combination of both category Wins and Finalist awards.
“We are so grateful to see our wonderful community show their support for our school for the fifth year in a row,” said President Matthew Fischer. “CEC continues to forge ahead with innovative program enhancements and campus upgrades that have absolutely catapulted us into a bright future. It is an exciting time to be a part of the CEC family.”
Earlier in 2024, Bucks Happening conducted its annual online contest that included various categories for area schools and businesses. Thousands of individuals voted to determine their favorites in multiple categories before the winners were announced. To ensure fairness and accuracy, an extensive audit process was in place while calculating the results and the results were revealed in early April.
“The growth we’ve experienced just in the past five years has been instrumental in transforming the landscape of education in Lower Bucks County,” added Fischer. “We could not win or even be considered for this honor without the proud support of our students, parents, teachers, administrators, and alumni.”
