The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a standardized high school exam that covers five areas: verbal, language, reading, math skills, and math aptitude. The practice test that is administered in 7th grade is provided to help students prepare for CEC's Scholarship test that is administered in the Fall of 2024. The test takes approximately 3 hours and results will be available 6-8 weeks after the test is taken. The scores will be used in our Summer Test Prep Camp to help prepare for the HSPT exam taken in Fall of your child's 8th Grade year.
This exam will be used as a component in determining "Instant Decision Candidates."

For parents of current seventh grade students
While our practice exam is taking place, please join us for an information session and open house detailing the admissions process and introducing your family to our school. Our admissions team will walk you through our admissions process, steps, aid, and scholarships. We'll have students and faculty on hand to answer any questions and hear personalized stories. You'll also be able to chat with the administration and coaches.
Our building will be open, and we will have students lead tours. All the while, we'll have light refreshments and coffee prepared! Please see what separates Conwell-Egan from any other high school option!
